The architect Thiago Bernardes revisits the life and career of his grandfather, Sergio Bernardes (1919-2002). Through letters, designs, plans and meetings he retraces the trajectory of this visionary architect, disgraced by accepting to work for the military.

TAB Film Programme will showcase a selection of films curated by Lisbon’s Architecture Film Festival director Sofia Mourato. The films were specifically chosen to initiate a discussion within the TAB 2017 theme – bioTallinn, presenting relevant documentaries and experimental films that expose international contemporary architecture as well as the permanent dialogue between city, nature, space and narrative.

Arquiteturas Film Festival is co-organized by DYMA platform and the Lisbon Architecture Triennale, officially integrating the Triennale activities program.
