What is the special program “Iberofest”?

Iberofest is a festival that introduces the colourful culture of Iberoamerican countries to the Estonian audiences. Although little known in Estonia, the term Iberoamerica comprises the Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries in Europe and in the Americas. The festival was brought to life in March 2014 by the Embassy of Spain in Estonia with the idea of offering a platform for Iberoamerican countries to strengthen their relations with Estonia through culture. Lasting the entire month, the festival presents a varied programme of concerts, movies, gastronomic events, conferences and exhibitions. Besides the Embassies of different Iberoamercian countries, many events have also been organized with the help of local enthusiasts and promoters. We hope that the festival helps you to get to know our rich cultural heritage.
