Romanian director Radu Jude holds a mirror up to the audience – and the audience might not like what they see. 

Emi, a school teacher, finds her career and reputation under threat after a personal sex tape is leaked on the Internet. Forced to meet the parents demanding her dismissal, Emi refuses to surrender to their pressure. Radu Jude (Aferim!) delivers an incendiary mix of unconventional form, irreverent humour and scathing commentary on hypocrisy and prejudice in our societies.

The screening will open a short film "My Galactic Twin Galaction" (R: Sasha Svirsky, Venemaa, 2020, 7min)

"My Galactic Twin Galaction" is a film that talks about the idea of making a film, a kind of witty frame story, formed with the means of the original animation language and its equivalent sound direction. The main issues of the galactic dichotomy and philosophy of good and evil are elegantly contained in six minutes. It cannot be hidden that Sasha Svirsky royally had fun making the film. The viewer will not miss this fun either.
